Do I need recording gear?: No. A phone or laptop microphone in a quiet room is enough. Street sound on location is fine, even nice, as long as your voice is clear.
How long should a walk be?: Eight to twelve stops in one compact area, two to four minutes of story at each. That lands most walks between 45 and 90 minutes.
What do you check in review?: That the facts hold up, the route is walkable and safe, the audio is clear, and the photos are yours to share. If something needs a change, we tell you exactly what.
Who owns the walk?: You do. Your words and your voice stay yours. Submitting gives Roamer permission to publish and sell the walk on our app and partner channels.
How do I get paid?: You keep 70% of what Roamer receives from each sale, after app store, payment or reseller fees. Each sale clears after 30 days, then it's paid by PayPal or Wise once you pass $25.
Can I tell it in Spanish?: Yes. The Studio takes English or Spanish narration today.
